Police are appealing for help investigating what they are describing as an "altercation" in Scarborough yesterday.

They were called to Maria's Court, off Queen's Street, just after midnight.

They are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information to the incident to get in touch.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who has CCTV, dash-cam or doorbell-camera footage that may have captured the area before, after or during the incident.
