A police spokesman said: “These are the remains of a picnic beach that has been set on fire within a local nature reserve at Flamborough South Landing.
“This is not only metres from a site of special scientific interest but in an area enjoyed by many.
“If you know who is responsible please contact police 101 ref 16/51912/22.”
