Police investigate burglary at Boyes department store in Scarborough

A burglary has taken place at Boyes department store on Queen Street in Scarborough, police have said.

North Yorkshire Police are are currently investigating an alleged burglary which happened overnight from Saturday January 4 to Sunday January 5.

The force says a window was broken at the department store on Queen Street and items removed.

Officers from Scarborough Police are appealing for any witnesses who may seen anything suspicious in and around the area.

In particular they ask anyone driving in the area at the time to review dash-cams and anyone with CCTV in the surrounding streets to check their footage.
