Police are investigating a string of thefts from farms around Bridlington.

Officers say there have been reports of break-ins at outbuildings and property including quad bikes taken.

There thefts have happened in Kilham and Carnaby, as well as around Driffield including in Wold Newton.

A spokesperson for Humberside Police said: "Please can we request all landowners and farmers to ensure all machinery and valuables are securely locked up and all vehicles immobilised.

"Should you witness any suspicious activity or any quad bikes being ridden around late at night or early hours of the morning, in suspicious circumstances, please report to police on 999 for suspected crime in action or 101 for non-emergency."
