Police issue fresh appeal following assault involving man and woman

The incident took place on the Ropery in Pickering between 12.50pm and 1.20pm on Saturday February 15 and involved a man and a woman.

It is believed that three members of the public, two men and one woman, intervened in the incident and officers are appealing for them to come forward and make contact, as they may hold information which is important to the investigation.

Officers are also keen to speak to anyone else who may of witnessed the incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact 101, select option 2, and ask to speak to PC Louise Neville-Beck. You can also email [email protected]
