Police say they have had complaints about the anti-social behaviour in the public car park on Maltongate.

A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: "Vehicles are reported to be being driven at speed, dangerously and occupants littering the area.

"This is causing a nuisance to local residents.

"We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incidents, and advise those involved that this is unacceptable behaviour and positive action will be taken against them."
