Police are investigating an attack on a man outside a Scarborough bar.

Police are investigating an attack on a man in Scarborough

A man in his 20s suffered a nose and mouth injury during the assault by another man outside Mist on St Thomas Street.

Officers are asking for anyone who can help with their investigation to get in touch.

The attack happened at around 1.15am on Wednesday, August 12.

The victim was wearing a white T-shirt.

Anyone with information that might assist the investigation should contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 and quote reference 12200139062.

Information can also be passed on anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
