Police probe suspected arson attack in straw field near Malton

They say a blaze in a straw field at High Mowthorpe on Thursday night is thought to have been started deliberately.

It happened at around 9pm.

Officers want to hear from anyone who can help them establish the full circumstances surrounding the fire.

In particular, they are appealing for information about anyone who may have witnessed what happened or any suspicious activity in the area at the time.
