Police seize vehicle from Malton car park after reports of anti-social behaviour
A vehicle has been seized in Ryedale following a North Yorkshire Police crackdown on anti-social behaviour in the area.
The vehicle was seized at Wentworth Street car park in Malton on September 10, following reports of anti-social driving .
Police say the vehicle had no insurance, the driver was reported and the car impounded.
Four police units attended the call, with a Northern Ryedale patrol coming across from Thornton-le-Dale, as it was patrolling the car park there at the time due to similar concerns.
North Yorkshire Police hope the positive result offers some reassurance for the communities of Malton and Thornton-le-Dale.
“We recognise the impact anti-social driving has on our communities quality of life in these locations,” they said, “and encourage our communities to continue to report this behaviour.”
