Police stop group for travelling to Scarborough to buy a car

Police stopped four people who travelled to Scarborough from Leeds to buy a car over the weekend.

Officers reported all four for breaching coronavirus lockdown rules, saying their journey did not qualify as essential.

The group told police they had come to the coast to look at a car one of them wanted to buy.
