Police want to speak to man with distinctive leg tattoo after theft from Scarborough store

Officers want to speak to the man in the CCTV image after a mobile phone was taken from the self-service till area of Lidl on Seamer Road.

The purple iPhone 11 with a clear case has been left there by a woman.

Anyone who recognises the man in the photo or has information about the theft, which happened at around 2.30pm on Wednesday, November 4, should call police on 101, select option one, and quote reference number 12200194208.

Information can also be emailed to [email protected] or passed on anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
