Reports of suspicious man trying to sell sweets on Yorkshire coast

Officers say the man was at a property on Rudding Drive in Bridlington on Thursday afternoon attempting to sell confectionery.

They are urging people to check who they open their door to and ask for ID when unsure.

Anyone with information about the man should call police via 101.

Information can also be passed on anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
