Scarborough man charged following attempted theft from vehicle
Police in Scarborough have charged a 41-year-old Scarborough man with theft from a motor vehicle, criminal damage and two counts of vehicle interference.
Officers issued a witness appeal on the North Yorkshire Police – Yorkshire coast Facebook page on February 19 after an attempted theft from a vehicle in Scarborough.
Following an investigation, they arrested a suspect and a 41-year-old Scarborough man was charged to appear before Scarborough Magistrates on March 16.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police thanked the community for their support during the investigation.
