Officers also seized heroin, cocaine and cash during the operation in Bridlington last week.

Neighbourhood Beat Manager PC Kevin Jones said: “Drugs and drug-related crime can have a huge impact on communities and it’s not something that we will tolerate here in Bridlington.

“Over the last week we have arrested six people, carried out searches of people we believe to be involved in the supply of drugs, disrupted suspected drug deals and seized more than £1,000 in cash.

“We’ve also recovered quantities of what we believe to be heroin and crack cocaine and we’ll continue to target those suspected of being involved in this kind of offending.”

As a result of the crackdown, Adrian Walsh, 22, of Tennyson Avenue, Bridlington, was bailed to appear at Hull Magistrates' Court on Monday, September 9, charged with driving without a licence.

Jordan Spalding, 18, of Moser Avenue, Bradford, was remanded to appear at Hull Crown Court on Wednesday, September 11.

He has been charged with assault, possession with intent to supply heroin, possession with intent to supply cocaine and obstructing a police officer.

Lewis O’Donnell, 18, of Thonfield Avenue, Bradford, was bailed to appear at Hull Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, September 11, charged with possession of heroin and possession of cocaine.

An 18-year-old Bridlington man was also charged with breaching his bail but the offence was withdrawn at court.

A 32-year-old Bridlington woman was arrested on suspicion of supplying a controlled drug and a 17-year-old London boy was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.

Both have been released under investigation, pending further enquiries.

PC Jones added: “By working together, we can make a real impact on offending of this kind, so my plea to everyone living and working in Bridlington is to keep the information coming.

“The more we know about where and when these people are operating, the more effective we can be in putting a stop to it.”
