Ten drivers stopped by police in Ryedale road safety checks
Police carrying out road safety checks in Ryedale stopped 10 drivers in one evening.
The officers, who were watching drivers on Scarborough Road in Norton earlier this week, found people using their mobile phones while driving, not wearing seatbelts and yob driving.
They posted on social media: "We will continue to target drivers committing these offences as they have no place on our roads."
