Martin Davis, 31, of Northwold Road: fined £100 for failing to comply with supervision requirements imposed following release from prison.

James Richard Towse, 48, of West Street: discharged conditionally for six months and ordered to pay £21 victim surcharge and £85 costs, for using threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour.

Wendy Atherton, 48, of Woodland Avenue: community order made, including four-month electronically monitored curfew and rehabilitation activity requirement, restraining order made, and ordered to pay £90 victim surcharge and £85 costs, for causing the sending of electronic messages that were grossly offensive or of an indecent, obscene or menacing character.

David Simeon Johnson, 50, of Helredale Road, Whitby: discharged conditionally for 12 months, restraining order made and ordered to pay £21 victim surcharge, for using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour.

Christopher Gavin Trevor McMillan, 53, of West Terrace, Whitby: community order made, including 150 hours' unpaid work over 12 months, and ordered to pay £90 victim surcharge and £85 costs, for assault.

Allanaha Baron, 48, of Wheatfields Court, Eastfield: community order made, including 26-week electronically monitored curfew, restraining order made, and ordered to pay £315 compensation, £85 victim surcharge and £100 costs, for sending an electronic message that was grossly offensive or of an indecent, obscene or menacing character.

Megan Ann May Cook, 19, of Lisburn Rise: community order made, including 120 hours' unpaid work over 12 months, and ordered to pay £100 compensation, for entering as a trespasser a shop in Victoria Road and stealing lighters and vape equipment.

Lauren Georgia Johnson, 24, of Kealia Court: community order made, including rehabilitation activity requirement and ordered not to enter TK Maxx for 12 months, and ordered to pay £90 victim surcharge and £85 costs, for stealing £43.94 of make-up and toys from TK Maxx, and breaching a community order imposed for previous offences of, on three separate occasions, causing a nuisance to the public by being on the wrong side of Spa Bridge, requiring the road to be closed, and one previous offence of resisting a police constable.

Mohammed Moktar, 32, of Coastal Road, Burniston: fined £200 and ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge and £85 costs, for resisting a police constable.

James Martin Murphy, 66, of Northstead Flats: fined £120 and ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs, for making a threat to kill.

Claire Peace, 57, of Pavilion Square: community order made, including 10-week electronically monitored curfew and rehabilitation activity requirement, and ordered to pay £90 victim surcharge and £85 costs, for entering an area of the town centre from which she was prohibited due to a restraining order, and breaching a community order imposed for previous offences of racially aggravated assault and of using threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour.

Alan Storr, 43, of Larpool Lane, Whitby: fined £120 and ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge, for drunk and disorderly behaviour, on St Peter's Road, Whitby.

McCauley Kevin Gordon McHale, 21, of no fixed abode: committed to prison for 10 weeks concurrent to jail sentence already being served, and ordered to pay £100 compensation, for dishonestly handling stolen goods, or arranging to do so, namely lighters and vape equipment, for the benefit of Megan Cook.

Mark Rhodes Johnson, 43, of Commercial Street, Norton: community order made, including 120 hours' unpaid work over 12 months, restraining orders made, and ordered to pay £90 victim surcharge and £85 costs, for sending electronic messages that were grossly offensive or of an indecent, obscene or menacing character.

Richard Elvidge, 51, of Cromwell Terrace: fined £50 and ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge and £150 costs, for depositing controlled waste, namely a vacuum cleaner, on land off Dunslow Road, without the authority of an environmental permit.

Lefa Bull, 27, c/o Coppice Road, Doncaster: jailed for 26 weeks and ordered to pay £100 compensation, for theft of £100.25 of frozen foods and alcohol from Morrisons in Scarborough, theft of £32 of alcohol from Morrisons in Scarborough, theft of £3.89 of alcohol from One Stop shop in North Marine Road, and assault.

Reece Hollinsworth, 22, of Steadgate Garth, Rillington: community order made, including 120 hours' unpaid work over 12 months, and ordered to pay £90 victim surcharge and £85 costs, for assault.

Emma Claire Victoria Flanagan, 45, of Friars Gardens: community order made, including 13-week electronically monitored curfew and rehabilitation activity requirement, and ordered to pay £90 victim surcharge and £30 costs, for theft of £289 of clothing from Weird Fish, Scarborough, and breaching a community order imposed for original offences of theft of £70 Hugo Boss gift sets from Boots, Scarborough, and theft of £19.25 of items from Boyes, Scarborough.

James Andrew Dockerty, 22, of Lacey Avenue, Seamer: fined £220 and ordered to pay £70 costs, for failing to comply with a community order by failing to attend unpaid work requirement appointment and rehabilitation activity requirement appointment.

James Brown Fitzpatrick, 56, of Fieldside: jailed for 36 weeks and ordered to pay £122 compensation, for stealing 20 smoke alarms worth £437 from B&Q, stealing £246.29 worth of meat products, women's tights and deodorants from Sainsbury's, stealing six jars of coffee worth £30 from Poundland, and breaching a community order imposed for four offences of theft.

Kelly Leigh Lewis, 30, of no fixed abode: discharged conditionally for 12 months and ordered to pay £21 victim surcharge, for damaging the wing mirror of a police vehicle.

Dempsey Freda Michelle Pattison, 25, of Kealia Court: jailed for 20 weeks and ordered to pay £119 compensation, for jointly stealing four bottles of Jagermeister, worth £64, from Sainsbury's, failing to surrender to custody, and stealing £30.25 cans of deodorant and £24.75 bottles of deodorant from Wilkinsons.

Mark Trevor Rewcroft, 53, of Westbourne Grove: fined £62 and ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs, for possessing cannabis, a class B controlled drug.

January 28

Christopher David Gennard, 36, of Murchison Street: community order made, including 200 hours' unpaid work over 12 months, restraining order made, and ordered to pay £90 victim surcharge and £170 costs, for two charges of harassment.

January 30

Paul Downes, 35, of Habton Lane, Great Habton, Malton: original community order revoked and new community order made, including 16-week electronically monitored curfew, for breaching a community order and two original offences of fraud, both involving making false representations to pay for accommodation.

David Fraser Flinton, 38, of Hinderwell Road: jailed for 14 days, for breaching the curfew element of a supervision default order.
