Thieves steal £4,000 worth of skincare products from Scarborough Sainsbury's

Police in Scarborough have released CCTV images of two men they want to speak to following a high-value theft in Scarborough.

North Yorkshire Police said two men shoplifted over one hundred Olay skincare products using two bags before leaving Scarborough Sainsbury's without paying, shortly before 11am on Friday July 9.

The total retail value of the theft is estimated to be around £3,800.

When challenged by the store's security the two men fled on foot across the car park onto Falsgrave Road.

Investigating officer PC Liam Cromack said: “If you recognise either of the males featured in these images I would ask you to get in touch. I am also looking to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the males running away from the store across Falsgrave Road as you may have information which could help.”
