Thieves target cricket club and steal £1,300 lawnmower

Police are investigating after a lawnmower worth hundreds of pounds was taken from a Ryedale cricket club.

The equipment - worth £1,300 - was taken from a shed at Thixendale Cricket Club near Malton overnight between Wednesday, April 7 and Thursday, April 8.

Anyone with information that might help with the police's investigation should call police on 101, press one and pass information to the force control room, quoting reference number 12210093775.
