Two attacked by gang of men in Ryedale

The attack happened on West End in Kirkbymoorside on Saturday night.

The victims - both men - suffered multiple injuries including cuts and bruises.

Two men, both in their 20s, have been arrested in connection with the assault and have been released under investigation while police enquiries continue.

Officers are urging anyone who saw what the attack, which happened at 10.40pm on Saturday, to get in touch by ringing 101, selecting option two, and asking for Steven Munro.
