UPDATED: Report of violence in Scarborough; 3 people sought after blood found on the ground

Police have updated details of an earlier report, about an incident in the Old Town.

Officers were called to reports two men and a woman were involved in a violent incident on the corner of Longwestgate and Cross Street at around 5.45pm yesterday.

Police say they arrived two minutes after the report was received but those involved had left the scene. Blood was found on the ground.

They have carried out detailed checks, including with the ambulance service and hospitals, but are yet to find the men and woman.

They want to hear from anyone who saw what happened or has information about people or vehicles in the area at the time.
