Vehicle seized and three males detained after reports of hare coursing near Bridlington

The incident took place on Sunday, March 29.

A police spokesperson said: “Following reports of hare courses on land near to Rudston in the East Riding of Yorkshire, The Rural Task Force and Patrol Colleagues responded to area immediately.

“Three males were reported at the road side for hunting act offences and the vehicle was sized under the hunting act.

“Three males with four dogs were detained. One male who was involved is still outstanding, however enquiries are on going.

“Please continue to report incidents of hare coursing to us via 999 if in progress or 101 if not ongoing.”
