Weapon and quantity of drugs seized from Bridlington property after wanted man is arrested
Humberside Police have arrested a wanted man at an address on Bessingby Gate in Bridlington on Wednesday, March 25.
Upon forcing entry into the address, a 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs, and recall to prison.
A search of the property uncovered a quantity of cash, multiple mobile phones, along with a quantity of class A drugs and a weapon, which have all been seized from the address.
Plain clothed officers from the Proactive Organised Crime Group, a part of the Humberside Police team, were involved in the arrest.

A police spokesperson said: “Proactive officers form part of our Kinetic Organised Crime Group Teams based across both sides of the Humber; it’s all in the name, but the teams focus on tackling serious and organised crime across our force area.
“The impact crimes of this nature have on the local community cannot be underestimated, and enforcement activity like this is key to tackling and disrupting criminals, deterring them away from operating in our area, and holding them accountable for their actions.
“We always encourage anyone who has information or concerns about crime within their community, please speak to officers when you see them out and about.
“You can also report online, via our non-emergency number 101 or contacting us in an emergency on 999.
“Don’t forget you can also report anonymously via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
