Woman hurt in hit-and-run in Bridlington

Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was hurt in a hit-and-run in Bridlington.

The car hit the pedestrian between Gordon Road and High Street, Bridlington at about 4:55pm yesterday.

It is reported that the woman was hit by a small white modified car with blue neon lights, believed to have blue stickers on the lower section of the doors.

The car failed to stop at the scene and fortunately the woman only suffered minor injuries.

Police are appealing for witnesses following the collision.

Anyone who witnessed the incident, or has dash cam footage in the area around this time, is asked to call the police non-emergency number 101 quoting log 386 of December 21.
