Cyclist suffers serious head injuries after crash at Filey roundabout.

The accident happened on a roundabout close to the junction of Stonepit Lane, the B1261 and the A165, Gristhorpe, Filey at 3.10pm on Wednesday, September 2.

It involved a red Honda Jazz car and a cyclist.

The cyclist suffered serious head injuries and was taken to hospital where he is still being treated.

Police are appealing for anyone who saw the crash, or the bike or car beforehand to get in touch as soon as possible.

In particular, they are appealing for dash cam footage of the incident.
