Driver taken to hospital after car hits tree in Bridlington

Police are appealing for witnesses after a car crashed into a tree on St John’s Street in Bridlington,

The collision happened shortly before 6am this morning.

A grey coloured Ford Puma left the road and collided with a tree.

The driver was taken to hospital for treatment.

The crash happened this morning.

Police are asking anyone who was in the vicinity with dash cam footage, or who was travelling along St John’s Street at the time of the collision, or the moments prior, and saw the collision, to please contact them by calling the non-emergency number 101, quoting log 62 of December 17.
