Multi-agency response after woman falls from height in Whitby

Emergency service workers were called to assist a woman who had fallen from height near to the Khyber Pass in Whitby on Thursday evening (June 19).

Officers from North Yorkshire Police, the Coastguard, North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service and Yorkshire Ambulance Service attended the incident and worked together to bring the woman to waiting medical care.

The woman was taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment.
