Whitby Dairy Discussion Group meeting to welcome farming nutritionist manager

Speaker this month is Chris Lord, UK InTouch Manager at Alltech.

Chris was the Whitby dairy group’s technical judge in the silage competition and will be reviewing the results and awarding the prizes at the start of the meeting.

After seven years as an assistant farm manager, Chris began his journey into the advisory side of the industry, first with an animal health company in Cumbria, then joining the Keenan business in 2014 as ruminant nutritionist for the North of England.

In 2016 Alltech acquired the Keenan company and shortly afterwards Chris became the UK InTouch manager, responsible for a team of nutritionists working with over 500 farms across the UK.

The meeting starts at 7.45pm.
