A white substance, which is suspected to be milk, has been spotted running down a beck in Weaponness Valley Road.
Resident Brian Ralph who lives just over the road from the beck, said he noticed the colour of the water change on two separate occasions last week.

"On Tuesday morning from 9am to 10am it was running white and again on Friday morning."
As drainage pipes from neighbouring housing estates empty in the beck, the assumption is that someone may be spilling milk. However, this is yet to be confirmed.
After sharing pictures of the stream with the Weaponness Valley Community Group, of which he is vice chairman, Brian is hoping someone will shed some light on the incident.

The Environment Agency have been contacted for comment.
