In Scarborough, we have a constant reminder of the beauty and importance of our seas, with the coast being on our doorstep. As well as being a place to educate people about the ocean and the creatures in it - Sealife Scarborough also take an active role in conservation by running Yorkshire' s only seal hospital which rescues and rehabilitates seal pups found up and down the county's coast, organising and taking part in beach cleans and fundraising for their sister charity the Sealife Trust which works on global conservation. Take a look at this gallery of images of the creatures in Sealife Scarborough. Find out more about World Ocean's Day and events in our area here.
