They carried out first aid and fitted a neck collar for one person, as well as washing down the road.

On the same day, at 11.20am, a crew from Filey were called to Gap Road in Hunmanby to a report of a dog locked inside a car.

The owner told the team someone was on their way with a spare key. The firefighters checked the dog was not too hot before leaving.
