Group travel from Hull to Scarborough for day out and set camp fire in woods

Both police and fire crews attended an incident in Scarborough yesterday which saw a group travel from Hull to Scarborough.

Fire crews from Scarborough were called to reports of a bonfire in the woods at 5.38 yesterday (April 21) on Reasty Road in Harwood Dale.

A number of people had travelled from Hull for a day out and lit a campfire.

The fire had been extinguished by police prior to the arrival of the fire service.
