'Heroes' praised as drowning woman rescued from sea off Scarborough North Bay
Two ambulances and a clinical supervisor were dispatched to help the woman just before 5pm on Tuesday.
She was taken to Scarborough Hospital.
A man who was at the beach that afternoon said: "I was a few steps away.
"A man handed me his dogs and went into the sea to carry her out.
"Another older man joined him. They did CPR.
"They had to move her in time as the tide was coming in.
"A lady too helped as she was in the sea and saw her face down.
