Incident at Nathan Court, off Scalby Road in Scarborough, 'is brought to a safe conclusion'

Police closed a Scarborough road this morning after a man was found with serious injuries.

The man was discovered near Falsgrave Road at around 8.40am today and taken to hospital.

Officers closed Falsgrave Road and asked people to avoid the area.

After the conclusion of the incident, North Yorkshire Police said on their Facebook page at 12.10pm today: "Thank you to the local residents for their support and patience."

Nathan Court is a flats development on Scalby Road near its junction with Harley Street, and opposite the junction with Stepney Avenue.
