Julian Glover stars at Scafborough sci-fi event

Star of Indiana Jones, James Bond, Star Wars and Game of Thrones Julian Glover is one of the guests at Sci-Fi Scarborough next year.

The event runs at the Spa from Saturday April 8 to Sunday April 9 and Glover will be appearing at the event on Sunday as part of the Star Wars Sunday line-up.

Julian has portrayed many roles since he began his acting journey in the 1950s. He played General Maximilian Veers in The Empire Strikes Back, the James Bond villain Aristotle Kristatos in For Your Eyes Only, Walter Donovan in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, and Brian Harcourt-Smith in The Fourth Protocol. He also voiced the giant spider Aragog in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and played the recurring role of Grand Maester Pycelle in HBO’s Game of Thrones from 2011 to 2016.

Other confirmed guests are Sylvester McCoy, Sophie Aldred, Gareth David-Lloyd, Garrick Hagon, Tim Rose, Jon Campling and Andrew-Lee Potts. There will also be a geek pub quiz, party and live music.
