A lifeboat team was called out to help seven people in two inflatable kayaks reported to be sinking near Flamborough today.

The crew from Flamborough RNLI went out to help those on the inflatables near Danes Dyke on Tuesday July 21 at 12.48pm.

When they got there, the people in one of the kayaks had managed to get it to the beach.

The crew escorted the second kayak to shore and offered advice on water safety.
