Letter: A cafe would offer a welcome break
Re the Albert Drive cafe, Scarborough:
Would be nice to try to save some of the old building and make it into a new cafe where dog walkers, joggers and visitors on their long walks can grab a coffee, read a newspaper and have local meetings.
Scarborough as such young carers, mums and dads, Mencap students - make everything a £1 to suit everyone’s pockets.
When you walk all the way around Marine Drive, a tea break would be lovely with benches to sit on and look out to sea. We don’t need holiday lets there.
