As they have four teams participating in the league they are considered to be a vital part of it.
It is well known that there has been some uncertainty about where they would play their home matches for some time.
As the 2017 season is less than three months away, it is extremely worrying to be informed that they will be ejected from their present Filey Road site sometime in spring or early summer this year and there are no arrangements for where they will play after this.
The club cannot at this stage be put into some kind of suspended animation. If their league commitments cannot be met they will be forced to leave the league.

Given that their Men’s A team finished runners up in Division One and their Ladies team won promotion back to Division Two last year, this would be an appalling state of affairs and put back tennis in the Scarborough area virtually for ever.
I cannot emphasise how important it is that Scarborough Borough Council and the club find the means by which the club can continue and fulfil their league programme for 2017 which starts in April.
