Letter: Need for fresh approach to thinking
As a Scarborian I am not happy with the council we have now.
They are spending money on the demolition of the Futurist then selling the site off for less money than the demolition is costing. This is taxpayers’ money. Surely councillors should listen to voters who have put them in office.
And the new Lidl store on the most major road in to the town, causing more congestion, why can’t they use all the land at Eastfield?
Scarborough could have its own Monks Cross or Clifton Moor and bring more people to the area. Start thinking councillors or resign.
