Letter: No facts, just speculation re referendum

The truth of the matter is as far as leaving is concerned there are no facts, only speculation and opinion.
The money spent on this referendum would have been better off spent on doctors, nurses, social housing etc.The money spent on this referendum would have been better off spent on doctors, nurses, social housing etc.

As to what happens if we stay in is down to the politicians, most of whom can’t be trusted, in my view.

The biggest fact is that this referendum was called by a Tory PM who was very keen to pacify rebellious MPs no matter what the cost.

The money spent on this referendum would have been better off spent on doctors, nurses, social housing etc. As far as democracy is concerned, there isn’t such a thing.

Ask the people opposed to fracking or the people overlooking Weaponness coach park.

As long as we have a Tory council backed up by Independent councillors who generally vote with them, then things won’t change.

As far as government is concerned, I am not sure that any politicians from Thatcher to Blair and onwards can be trusted.

They are all too well educated in deceit.
