Exciting and meaningful experience knitting daffodils for Marie Curie.

It has been an exciting and meaningful experience knitting for the above and watching the daffodils grow.

Thanks to those who have so lovingly clicked away on their needles for many hours and to those who have donated wool and made a donation to such a worthy cause.

Each daffodil seems to have represented just a few of many people who have been supported by Marie Curie nurses.

As I was also a collector at two different stores in Scarborough, I was moved by the response of many of the people who could recall how much they had been helped by them or someone known to them.

We have raised £288 by selling the daffodils for £3 each.

I am so delighted that I brought home the idea from my holiday last year.

With many thanks to everyone.
