Letter: So grateful for selfless act
I would like to say thank you to the gentlemen from '˜Cleaning ETC' who stopped to help me when I suffered a blown out tyre last week on the A64 near the Filey Road park and ride.
It was very much appreciated. Although the blowout proved to be more than just a flat tyre (a broken coil spring was the cause), their timely and courteous intervention was much appreciated on a cold and wet Monday morning.
How good to know that there are still some magnanimous people in our community willing to help others in these somewhat distressing times.
These guys deserve a medal for their selfless acts. Thank you once again.
