Letter: Support has been fantastic for charity shop

Could I through your newspaper thank all the fantastic people who have helped us over the past year since we moved into our larger shop here on Falsgrave Road.

Yes it’s a year. Our customers are the reason we have been able to help our local community in many ways and many amounts of money, not forgetting the people who donate their unwanted goods for us to sell.

Our charity is run by a great team of volunteers who ask for nothing but a drink and a cake or biscuit (especially Eddie’s cakes).

In the three years we have been going (two over the road) we have given away over £36,000 to local causes.

We are very proud of our shop and thank you all so much.
