For some unknown reason East Riding Council reject calls for a roundabout or traffic lights, but continue to advocate spending millions of pounds of public money on a pointless stretch of dual carriageway near Barmby Moor.
If the highway authorities are really interested in road safety, as opposed to improved journey times, then traffic controls need to be implemented at this junction before any duelling of the road is even considered.
