Littlebeck Rose Queen and Garden Fete cancelled

In a statement on their Facebook page Sharon Peacock wrote on behalf of the committee: "Sad to say, that the Littlebeck Rose Queen and Garden Fete, August 2020, will not now be able to take place.

"Due to the current situation it has been decided that it is not safe to go ahead.

"On behalf of all those involved in organising the event, we thank you for your support in previous years.

"Please join us next year for this very special event.

"Stay safe, see you next year."

Sharon said that the committee had thought long and hard about the decision, but they did not want to go ahead with the show if it would put anyone at risk.
