Lloyd Dowson backing annual tourism awards

A Scarborough-based company has announced its support for the region’s annual tourism awards.

Lloyd Dowson, the Chartered Accountants, Tax and Business Advisors with offices in Bridlington and Scarborough, has been unveiled as sponsors of the New Tourism Business category in the Remarkable East Yorkshire Tourism Awards (the REYTAs), organised by Visit Hull and East Yorkshire.

Now in their 11th year, the REYTAs are regarded as Hull and East Yorkshire’s tourism ‘Oscars’ and the 2020 awards will be presented at a ceremony at Bridlington Spa next March.

Mr Dowson said: “The visitor economy is vitally important to Bridlington and Scarborough’s futures and encouraging the tourism entrepreneurs of the future is key to that and why it was important for us to support this particular award.

“New start-ups and business expansion are some of our specialist areas and with visitor numbers to East Yorkshire continuing to grow I am confident that both Bridlington and Scarborough can look forward to bright futures.”
