Local designer turns hand to Whitby animations
John Lowe, 65, has spent the last few years cutting wooden names on a market stall in Church Street but has now turned his attention to digital software.
He said: “I never had a go at digital art so set myself up with a tablet. I felt cartoon style paintings seem to be me, so I learnt the software and as live near Whitby went for Whitby themes.

John has a background in craft and design and has designed and manufactured for John Lewis, The National Trust and supplied gift shops in the UK and abroad.
