The Mystery, Magic and Midnight Feasts sessions are aimed at younger children and family groups and are based around the current Enid Blyton exhibition.

The sessions will be led by actor, theatre maker and drama worker Jackie Phillips, a Reader in Residence at Seven Stories, the National Centre for Children’s Books, which has curated the exhibition.

They will be held at 11am (for children up to five years old) and at 11.45am, 1.30pm and 2.45pm (for all the family) on both Saturday and Sunday.

Entry is free with a £3 annual pass.

Scarborough Museums Trust’s education officer Rosie Goodwin says: “We’re really excited to welcome Jackie from Seven Stories.

“The exhibition has been so well received and it’s nice to be able to hold this special event for our final weekend.

“We’re hoping it will be really memorable as local families make one last visit to enjoy Mystery, Magic and Midnight Feasts.”

Mystery, Magic and Midnight Feasts, the first-ever major exhibition celebrating the life and work of Enid Blyton, is at Scarborough Art Gallery until Sunday (26 June).
