Routes are being altered and renumbered, with EYMS saying the overhaul will ‘simplify the town network and combine some quieter services together’, when they come into effect on May 8.

Some areas such as West Hill and the area around The Crayke will see services become hourly, rather than the more frequent buses passengers are used to under the current timetables.

The Bempton service will no longer be run by EYMS.
