Major search by both Bridlington lifeboats, six other vessels and Coastguard helicopter after Mayday call received off Flamborough
and on Freeview 262 or Freely 565
Both Bridlington's lifeboats were deployed along with six other vessels, the UK Coastguard helicopter and coastguard teams after a Mayday call was received on Tuesday afternoon.
Humber Coastguard stood the search down later in the day with nothing found but with a request that any vessels in the area keep a lookout.

Hide AdBridlington Coxswain Andy Rodgers said: "Once we cleared the bay, sea conditions changed and there was a 15 to 20 feet swell. Visibility was good but we just did not spot anything."
