Motorbike deliberately set on fire in Malton

Firefighters were called to reports of a fire in Malton yesterday evening.

Fire crews attended a motorbike on fire in the middle of road in Whitewall, Norton, Malton at 6.50pm yesterday.

Crews extinguished the fire using a hose reel jet and searched the area for any persons involved, but did not find anyone.

Firefighters say the cause of the fire is believed to be deliberate.
